cold limbs, Low back pain, urinary frequency & Blood sugar

One of my favorite herbs in the Chinese Materia Medica is cinnamon bark. Otherwise known as Rou Gui in Chinese Medicine. This herb is a personal favorite because it has help me overcome a symptom that I struggled with for a long time. When fall and winter arrive, I’m always cold. I feel cold to the bone, and often experience chills. I’d gain zero relief from layers of clothing, or hot showers, and only short-term relief from warm soups. Once I began taking cinnamon bark, as part of a Chinese Herbal Medicine formula, the cold and chills subsided, then completely vanished!

When I took cinnamon bark regularly, the more consistently my body felt warm. Overtime, the herbs integrated deep into my system and I was able to reduce the frequency of the herbal formula. I also made dietary adjustments too, like avoiding cold, raw foods and drinks, and other herbs and spices that are cooling in nature. For several years now, I’ve spent the fall and winter months warm, cozy, and comfortable!
